about

A piece written for a solo dance by Tineke Veenhof ('Ale Hop').

"Because this piece does not try to go anywhere - it begins somewhere and stays in that place - it expands what it is rather than narrate a direction" -Katie Duck ( performer/dancer).

here she means derek bailey. katie worked with him a lot. you would always know when he stopped playing. almost as if the space dropped. always a presence.
this tune is one of the few i try and use not guitar. not my forté. and done very naively and cheaply (ipod). still all done live. gong sounds etc.
